If you’re looking for a manicure that’s perfect both in summer and winter, take inspiration from the long french tip nails. Not only is it one of the most timeless nail styles out there, but it can be worn during any season.
The classic French manicure consists of a sheer nude polish on the nails with white tips. This look is extremely versatile since it makes the look of your nails more feminine while maintaining its elegant elegance.
But, that doesn’t mean it’s only good for summer. Since the tips are only on the ends of your nails, wearing this style in winter is also very chic.
It’s been a long time coming for this, but it’s finally here! This article will show you how to have pretty, long French tip nails with glitter. It’s easy and quick to do, so most of you will be able to achieve this in just one sitting.
Before you start, you are going to need the following nail things:
Polish remover, cuticle oil, nail clippers, glittery base coat (I’m using an OPI matte top coat), base coat presser and topcoat. All of these things can be found in any nail polish or beauty supply store. You also need a pair of nail clippers and some patience for this one!
First off, we’re going to take off your old polish. Hopefully you’ve already had at least one manicure on this new French tip design. If not, don’t worry! It’s actually pretty easy to do and doesn’t require too much practice on your part. Just make sure you don’t go too close to your nail’s edge with the clippers.
Next, put on some cuticle oil. I put it on my nails before applying any base coat. It keeps my nails from getting too dry, but if you don’t do this step, then just dab some cuticle oil on after you’ve done your base coat.
Next, use your nail clippers to clip off all of your cuticles except for the very tip on each of your nails. When you do this, make sure not to trim too close to your nail’s edge.
When you’re done with that, apply some glittery base coat on top of your natural nail. I suppose you could just do the glitter instead-it doesn’t really matter either way! Do this with each of your nails, then let them dry.
After that, begin applying your base coat. I was pretty lucky on this trial run because I found that the top coat didn’t get too thick on my nails. If you find that it’s too thick, then just wait until it’s completely dry. It should be smooth enough to apply with your use of nail polish remover, if needed.
Once you have all of your nails covered in the base coat, use some topcoat to spread out the glittery base coat on each of your nails. You can also use a toothpick to help pick up some glitter pieces at random places on each nail if you’re having trouble spreading it evenly.
When you think they are all covered, use topcoat to help spread out the glitter on your nails. After you’ve done all of the above steps, let your nails dry.
After that, apply a second coat of topcoat over everything. This will help protect your pretty French tips from chipping for a few days! make your day with this red french tip nails ideas.
